Located in the Central Goldfields town of Maryborough Victoria, Blue Diamond Studio is the perfect home-away-from-home. Whether you want single nights, weekly or monthly accommodation, we have packages tailored to your needs. Less than an hour’s drive from Bendigo, Ballarat and Castlemaine, and only two hours from Melbourne, Blue Diamond Cottage is the perfect home base from which to explore the fascinating Goldfields region of Victoria, and is set up with your comfort and enjoyment in mind.
The Studio - Queen bed
Your Studio has a spectacular late 1800's antique Queen-sized brass bed. Its luxury pillow-top mattress offers excellent back support and supreme comfort, ensuring that every night you stay here is filled with rejuvenating, restful sleep. This room is equipped with a whisper-quiet Daikin reverse cycle air conditioning unit. Features: Reverse cycle aircon, wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps, ipod docking station and clock radio, all Sheridan linen, pillows, doonas and blankets included
With its high ceilings, polished floorboards and heritage features, Blue Diamond Studio’s open plan studio lounge/dining/kitchen area is the perfect space in which to relax. The Studio is equipped with a whisper-quiet Daikin reverse cycle air conditioning unit so you can moderate the temperature exactly as you like it. Features: Antique kitchette with bar fridge, microwave and kettle, an 81cm high definition LCD television, a range of DVDs and books, reverse cycle aircon, all Sheridan linen, pillows, doona and blankets.
Bathroom
The fully renovated bathroom offers a spacious shower (1 metre by 1.2 metres) and modern vanity unit for your convenience and comfort. Sheridan towels are provided for your comfort.
Garden
Love gardens? Then a paradise awaits you! Blue Diamond Studio has a beautifully landscaped rear garden, comprising a Balanese inspired pagola with exotic chez longue, all watched admiringly by our resident Garden Goddes fountain. Overlooking the courtyard is an oasis of plants – including roses, olives, acacia cognata, crab apples, weeping cherries, silver birch and more. Features: Gas barbecue for cooking under the sun and stars!
Non-Smoking
Blue Diamond Studio is strictly non-smoking – we thank you for respecting this. You will be greeted by the relaxing aroma of therapeutic grade essential oils……and when you open the doors to the back garden, you will be embraced by the wonderful scent of the roses and other plants.
Pets
Sorry, no pets permitted at Blue Diamond Studio.
Car Parking
At the moment street parking is all we have available (future works will include an off street car port). Immediately across the road is a large area of grass, where RVs and other large vehicles with trailors may be parked.
Swimming Pool
Although Blue Diamond Cottage adn Studio doesn't have an on-site swimming pool, there are two public swimming pools in Maryborough - the open air council pool located in Princes Park, and the undercover YMCA Aqua Centre on nearby Majorca Road.
A short walk
Blue Diamond Cottage is only a few blocks from Woolworths, Target, Aldi’s and Coles/Kmart. From there, it is another 2 blocks to the town centre, where you can browse the shops and enjoy an assortment of cafes and the local cinema.
